People have already been shooting off fireworks around here. Scared the crud out of me a couple nights ago, wasn't sure if it was gun fire or fireworks lol. What about you all?

No fireworks allowed here at all; not even the legal ones (sparklers, roman candles, bottle rockets, etcetera) due to extreme fire danger.

They've already started here and it seems every parking lot has a tent selling them. The town show is on Saturday and all our cats will be under the bed.

Nature gave us some yesterday afternoon. Our town did a show for high school graduation last week. Also the occasional back yard type during the week.

I loved 4th of July for many, many years. But now I have an infant daughter and a 140 pound 4 year old Rottie who literally refuses to go outside for days after 1 firework is setoff, I have grown to not enjoy it. This and people have no respect for anyone else, setting stuff off at 11pm on a Wednesday and I am just full blown old man shaking my fist.
