Hey guys, unfortunately I'm in the process of starting a RMA for my RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I've had it since launch with absolutely no problems but earlier today while playing FFXIV, my PC crashed and now refuses to boot with it. My iGPU and my old GTX 1080 both work with no problems so I'm pretty sure it's the 3080.

I'm grateful for warranties but I'm very worried about the turnaround time considering availability. Has anyone had to RMA their 3080s so far and how long did you have to wait? Any tips as far as shipping? I've heard a lot of horror stories on the internet and this is my first time RMA'ing a GPU.

They have cards for RMA, you'll probably get a used card from a Step-Up. If not, maybe a new KL card.

    Ship it UPS fully insured.

The process of RMA went well for me but it was very expensive (around 220 EUR to ship from Greece to Germany). Process lasted around 10-15 days (mostly due to holidays).

You know if EVGA will refund the insurance when they receive the GPU or I have to pay for that?

Do you have anything in mind in particular about things going wrong in the RMA process?
