I was there at 5:52 AM PT and refreshing the page. This was around the point the masses of people started showing up AND roughly when the page went live. I was checking the site from around an hour before the notify queue started, managed to get on the page just before the queue started. 15 mins before 6AM PT, I was checking the FTW3 url(which by the way was hidden in a comment on the 3080 Ti / 3070 Ti page, nice way of hiding the url lol..) and the url wasn't loading the page. The page was showing sold out at 5:52 AM PT and the notify button showed up at 6AM PT. I managed to refresh the page and see the addition of the notify button about 40 seconds after 6AM. Just to be clear: It was out of stock from 5:52AM PT. I just happened to refresh at that time and noted it visually. The page showed up at 5:52AM with the "(i)Out of Stock" page element. Did anyone actually see an "add to cart" option? Because I was hitting F5 on that page(not spam, just F5 after page loaded), and not once did I see it change. It took about 30-40 seconds at 6AM for the page to load on my end, and I hit F5 at exactly 6:00:00 AM PT. Worst case, it should have shown the "Add to Cart" and fail to do so because sold out, right? Unless it sold out before 6 AM; when it was supposed to go live. Nvidia sent out an email last night saying the cards we're gonna be sold at 6AM PT. So did EVGA screw up and start selling 10 mins early? or did the bots win the race within the 40 seconds it took for me to load the page? lol

All cards are sold using the notification system now days. You have to click auto-notify to be added to a queue. You can't buy their cards using "add to cart" ... this is a good thing and done intentionally by them. It results in us having some breathing room when competing with bots and scalper scripts. For instance, we have 8 hours to make a purchase when our queue position comes up. If it were "add to cart", no human could compete with the speed of bots and it would sell out before you enter your payment details.

That's the thing though, Jacob had said to someone asking about the XC3 version that qty sold out. There's no queue for it though, so there's that. I was watching the FTW3 version, so I can't tell if there was an add to cart option or not. I'm fine with it being a queue system, not fine with it being sold early when everyone else was told 6AM. As stated in his tweet, the XC3 card's quantity was sold out, which indicates that its not a queue system right away. I tried to link the tweet, but it didn't get added for w.e reason.

I think by sold out they mean they had to remove the auto notify button be cause they exceeded the quantity they had available for people to queue for, same thing happened with the 3080ti on the cheaper models
