EVGA SLI LE (PCI doubt)

Hello,
I am a new HAPPY client of EVGA, after my last system upgrade.
I am writing this ad to ask you about some doubts, for now, the most important doubt is if
I can use my Creative Sound Card (PCIe x1) in this MoBo, cause the use of my graphic card (HD 4870 X2),
it makes the port PCIe x1 unusable.
So, can I use my sound card (PCIe x1) in the second PCIe x16 of the MoBo ?

Wikipedia said yes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express
    "..a PCIe card will physically fit (and work correctly) in any slot that is at least as large as it is (e.g., an ×1 sized card will work in any sized slot).."
But what about EVGA ?????

    You can use any physical x1, x4 and x8 card in a physical PCIe x16

    This is a standard of the PCIe interface not the motherboard. The above statement applies to all PCIe slots but you need to make sure the speed of the slot doesn't bottleneck the card, e.g. GTX 480 on a x4 speed slot.
