Recommended EVGA MB for i5-11400?

I'm building a mid-range gaming PC built around the 11400K.  I'll be reusing 16GB of 3200MHz Ram.  I don't want to overspend on a MB, but I do want to be able to upgrade to an i7/i9 someday when prices come down.

I keep PCs for a LONNGGG time, fwiw.

    Since there are only two Z590 boards from EVGA I would get the FTW model for a gaming rig.  The Asus Z590 TUF models look nice too if you want a slightly cheaper non-EVGA option as well.

    Old Darks have held their value surprisingly well on the 2nd hand market, though the MSRP will definitely be a hard pill to swallow. I love motherboards, so I can only recommend the best - Z590 Dark!

    It might be worth going for the FTW or the Dark since I find buying a cheap motherboard normally limits the system a lot.

    I think you mean 11400 (non-k), since there is no k variable for this processor.
     
    Historically, intel rarely reduce their CPU prices. personally I would save a little more and go with a 10850k.
