It has been discovered by Japanese PC Mania that the ZOTAC FireStorm overclocking utility already lists unreleased graphics cards. By far the most interesting part of this ‘leak’ is the appearance of RTX 3090 Ti. So far we have not heard anything about this SKU, which leads us to believe that it may simply be a placeholder. In any other case, this would be the first trace of this new SKU. The update arrives just in time NVIDIA is set to announce its new RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti models. The latest FireStorm has a separate ‘resources’ directory, which contains nothing else than images that are used by the GPU software. All RTX 30 Ti logos were created at the same time which is April 21st. It is unclear when was this update released with the software as ZOTAC does not list a changelog for its GPU tool.  https://videocardz.com/ne...its-firestorm-software

It may have been like the 20gb 3080ti, it existed on software lists but not actually produced.

Could have sworn I saw a post about 3 Ti cards coming, they knew about the 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti, but didn't know what the 3rd Ti card was.

here is a stupid question... why would we need a Ti version of an already uber powerfull card thats overkill in these days? nVIDIA has no reason to sabotage the 3090 .... at all! we all understand the need for a Ti version of the 3080... but Ti version the 3090? nah... i don't see it! at least not for gaming

I'm not even sure what's the point. The 3090 is already a beast and not even really intended for general gamers. What would be the point of a 3090 Ti? If you need a super 3090 and feel like the 3090 doesn't cost enough? Might as well call it RTX TITAN 2 lol

they have Ti just for everything, 3060+70+80
i really wouldn't be surprised when 3090Ti comes out some time end of this year, or Q1 next year

I would be mildly surprised if NVIDIA released a 3090 Ti. Are they going to replace the 48GB GDDR6 memory on the A6000 with GDDR6X and sell it for $7,000 instead of $6,000? If they increase the memory of the 3090 to 36GB and sell it at @$2,800, they will loose sales of the A6000. If your workstations can get the job done with a 3090 Ti, you would buy them instead.
Having said all this, who knows what NVIDIA will really do these days.

I haven't seen any more leaks about this lately. If there is such a card it will be months down the road. Maybe even a stop-gap effort before the next gen GPU launch.

The 3090's chip has 10496 shaders and 328 ROPs, while the full silicon (e.g. RTX A6000) has 10752 shaders and 336 ROPs. the rumor is that we will see the full A6000 chip with 48GB of Vram there is also rumors of a CMP 170hx and a 220hX a 90HX(90 hashrate) is around the performance of a 3080 3090 has a hashrate of 110 so a 220 HX would need twice the memory bandwidth of a 3090 -,,,so 48GB the only reason you don't see these cards yet is because we have a chip shortage and GDDR shortage

Zotac needs to first get it's prices aligned and correct. They are ridiculous and basically scalping prices. As if it's not hard enough to get one as it is.
