Bad news

So I tried to fire up my pc to play some league and I get no video. I plug my HDMI into my motherboard and I get video I check my device manager and its showing a explanation point and it doesn't show my gpu it shows GL90(I think) with a malfunction. Im not sure when I got this card I put up a approximate date when I registered it. Is there anyway I can RMA it without knowing the exact date of purchase? (My gf got it on Valentines day for me, just not sure what year)

I've tried to re-install the drivers and it doesn't register the gpu at all.

As you all know its extremely hard to find a replacement as of right now.. Please advise

    Try another slot
    Try a different computer

As far as warranty work I think it may be past the 3 year window *shrugs*

From a debug perspective, we might require additional information (as there are a broad host of problems that could be the issue).
The answer depends on what "no video" means.
Do you see the bios screen? Is there a windows logo before video is lost?
    If yes...
Assuming you are running Windows, press F8 on boot and see if you can bring up safe mode.
    That indicates a driver problem.
    If no...
The problem is probably in hardware, but that does necessarily not mean the card is broken.
Does the MB post (Are there any beep patterns from the MB)?  If there is a pattern (not a single beep) you need to look up that pattern in your manual.
That could be a power supply connection issue or a host of other problems.
