Hi all,

I've had my 980 Ti Hybrid (06G-P4-1996-KR) for 6 years now and it has been running great until recently. I'm reasonably certain that the AOI pump isn't working properly. There is definitely some air in the loop, but I have the radiator positioned such that there shouldn't be any air bubbles in the pump itself.

I am thinking of completely removing the hybrid cooler and just replacing it with an air cooler or some sort, but I am not sure what is / isn't compatible. Does anyone have any suggestions for what will work?

Cheers.

i would recommend trying to buy a dead gpu for the air cooler, Their are alot of dead gtx 980 ti floating around with most of them being bad boards not bad coolers. That would be the easiest conversion not sure the cost. Or you could use a NZXT bracket with an aftermarket AIO cooler to keep the hybrid temps. If you search the forums their are a few posts about repairing the Hybrid cooler if you feel that is something you would like to try. Hope it works out for you

Thanks for the reply!
I've done some tinkering with the AIO and it seems to be working a little better. I topped up the coolant, which helped, too. Definitely not back to normal, but working.
Ideally, I think I'd like to replace it with something like an ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme IV, but I can't find stock anywhere. Is that because of the same shortages affecting GPU or is it because the cooler is no longer made?
