Plenty of time to make Elite by post #s too, I'd imagine. I guess I'll go for both methods, see which gets me there quicker. EVGA does seem to be the most consumer friendly GPU maker, helping to ensure we have ways to get the new cards, with their queue system and Elite program.

Excited for this after missing out on the other 3000 series. Do you think there will be a founders edition or only AIB?

soo let me get this straight... we shall have cards with mining software cap and without mining software cap?? so IF i understood correctly.. Nvidia must have a nice deal with worldwide chip manufacturers because for the same gfx model they will release 2 physical versions? 1 chip for mining and 1 Chip for "gaming" ? did i understood correctly?

no.... we will will have two sets of chips out there for a short bit - no differentiation between them unless you visibly inspect the surface of the GPU which means you won't know if you got a gimped one till you try it out mining basically old stock and new stock replacement 3090 might be un-gimped

Yeah, i definitely hope this methods gonna net me one too. It was actually pure coincidence through which i found out, that they have a queue system at all. I've been thinking for months "why'd no one create a simple queue to at least easen the scalper issues a bit" :D.

No, I think the idea is to make a minor refresh of existing cards that have the limiter installed and only manufacturer this version moving forward.

yesterday there was a national documentary about crypto here in PORTUGAL! they explained what it is.. how it works ... how much you can gain and how much you can lose like many people already did ( where scammed by some phony enterprise in DUBAI) and yes they mentioned the gfx cards!! oh the sweet GFX ( RTX 3090) and it's prices at over 2000 euros each BUT ALL OUT OFF STOCK!! they filmed those mining farms... how many gfx they had... how much money they made including electrical bills... i gotta say.... only few people trully gain substantially from this. BUT ITS A plague!! WHY? several people admitted lost money >> a LOT of money ( SCAM) and know what? they at it again!!!! and they warned in the end " if you enter the cryptocurrency business you will ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK" - because no one regulates it... and thats that!
