The megahalem will fit your board. If, however, you want to use two 120 x 38 mm fans in push/pull you will be out of luck because the heatspreaders on you dominators will get in the way. Two 120 x 25 mm fans will fit just fine. I used a megahalem on my E760 before I switched to WC and tried it all out. You MIGHT be able to fit two 38 mm fans on the megahalem if you are using low profile heatspreaders on your RAM.

If money isn't an option get a Noctua D14. I have one and love it. The reason for the premium in price is it comes with two VERY quiet fans. If you bought these two fans and a mega it would come out to be ~$90 total, that's how I look at.

Or get your second choice it's the same thing without the build quality that Noctua is known for.

Considering your RAM choice, I recommend the Prolimatech Armageddon.  Performance is pretty much identical to the Megahalems and Thermalright Venomous-X.  The mounting system is just as perfect as the Megahalems and the base is just as flat and smooth as the Megahalems (perhaps not as smooth as the Venomous-X).  You should be able to fit the Armageddon with two 120mm x 38mm fans, which you wouldn't be able to do with the others.

What on earth are you talking about?  The Thermalright IFX-14 is quite a bit different compared to the Noctua NH-D14.  First of all, Thermalright, Prolimatech, and Noctua all have a very good build quality.  High quality soldering and nickel plating.  But Noctua and Prolimatech have a better mounting system than Thermalright, and a better surface finish on the base compared to older Thermalright coolers.

The IFX-14 has a much more rough base surface than the Noctua NH-D14.  This means a more thick thermal paste is necessary, and it won't make as good contact with the CPU.  The NH-D14 has six 6mm heat pipes, while the IFX-14 has four 8mm heat pipes.  The NH-D14 has 96 fins (48 x 2) while the IFX-14 has 112 fins (56 x 2).  The NH-D14 has a much better mounting system, it comes with fans (fluid dynamic bearing silent fans), and fan noise absorbers.  On the other hand, the IFX-14 can fit a 120mm x 38mm fan in the middle, unlike the NH-D14.

A lapped IFX-14 (or Cogage Arrow, same thing as far as I know) with three 120mm x 38mm fans is as good as it gets for air cooling.  But the OP would have some trouble fitting this or the NH-D14, possibly even a Megahalems with a 120mm x 38mm fan pushing air through it, so once again I recommend the Prolimatech Armageddon.

Why not the Armageddon with 2 120x38mm fans?

If this is directed towards me, that is exactly what I recommended.  If this is simply what you recommend, then I agree.

I looked at the Noctua D14, I am concerned that it will not fit.  The air flow should be north south for the Raven RV1 case and I have the Large Dominator Memory.  I am not willing to remove the cooling fins from the memory.

I only run 6 gigs (3) sticks of rem in the red slots, f=do you think the D14 would fit?

I did not consider the Prolimatech Armageddon because they (Prolimatech) advised that it is not compatible with my motherboard (evga 760 Classified).  Thank you for the information!

So having a rough base has nothing to do with build quality? In my opinion the only real selling point for the IFX-14 is the fact you can fit larger profile fans on it but to counter that, I know of several 120x25mm fans that do the job just fine. The mounting system alone on the Noctua is a huge plus. It's simple yet very effective. I think all of Noctua's products might be a little over-priced, but for good reason. You get what you pay for. All of the coolers we are talking about are high-end but the difference between them  is how much you want to spend.

I can't see why they would say that.  The Armageddon is compatible with sockets LGA 775, LGA 1156, and LGA 1366.  Go for it.  The NH-D14 won't fit even if you use no fans.
