So I just went WC for the first time and i was wondering if these temps are pretty normal considering my voltage? yes i know its high but that's what it needs to be stable, its been clocked high all its life and its almost 2 years old now(degrading). I have reseated/redone my AS5 about 5 times now, the first couple times i was getting poor contact on half the CPU i was tightening it down evenly so i dunno. I was doing the dot method in the middle of the CPU at first, then i tried the line method. Now this last time i spread out a thin layer evenly across the whole CPU, these are the best temps so far. So what do you think? are they acceptable for my clock/voltage? Its a gain for me since i could only dream about hitting 4ghz my temps used to hit 85 at lower voltage and like 3.7 This is the kit i am using:
