***UPDATTE***

Got it to work by having to disable secure boot (CSM) in BIOS. Not sure if an extra 8 - 10 fps in a few games is worth disabling one of the key security features of Windows 10 though.... REALLY, REALLY, hope that Nvidia works with their partners (Gigabyte and EVGA in my case) in figuring out a way to get resizable BAR to work without having to disable CSM or at the very least provide a guide to revert back to previous settings that will allow our GPUs to work with CSM enabled once again....

Following the steps below I applied the updates to enable resizable BAR on my system:

https://www.evga.com/articles/01478/geforce-rtx-30-series-gpu-resizable-bar/

Unfortunately, after restarting when the vbios update for my 3080 was complete my monitors were no longer able to detect a signal coming from the GPU.

I have two LG monitors so I first suspected there was something wrong with them because failing to wake from sleep or upon restarting is a known issue with certain LG monitors. When my normal troubleshooting steps for this issue didn't work I plugged one of my monitors into the iGPU on my motherboard and the monitor was able to detect a signal and work like normal. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the updates I applied yesterday trying to get resizable BAR to work and not with my monitors.

Is there a way for me to factory default the GPU to see if that will fix the issue? I'm thinking this is probably the best next step but am open to suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

System SPECS:
Z390 AORUS Master motherboard
9900KS CPU
RTX 3080 FTW3 (10G-P5-3897-KR)

I had the same exact issue and ultimately gave up on using resizable bar. What I read from other forums is that there is a switch on your GPU that should be labeled as "OC" or "Normal". What you can do is move the switch to "Normal" and boot up your PC and you should have a signal on your monitor (or vice versa depending if you are currently running on Normal instead of OC). Once you are able to boot up your PC, I just reinstalled the old OC BIOS (as that was the "corrupted" BIOS).Provided on the bottom of the original post on this forum .

If you don't want to revert back to the default BIOS you can always run the GPU set on "Normal" and figure how to enable resizable bar. Hopefully this help as this is my first encounter with this sort of issue and I resolved it on my own as well.

Thanks for the response. Where does EVGA host the older versions of their vBIOS? Haven't been able to locate it...

I used the BIOS on the very bottom of the original post on this forum, since I was originally on OC mode and that VBIOS got screwed up, I download the FTW Ultra BIOS and selected the OC BIOS in the folder and ran it. The forum with the BIOS should be one of the pinned forums up top called "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 XOC BIOS BETA."
