Hello guys as the title says which gpu that currently or previously released are good for1440p gaming ? I would like to know your opinions

I have 3080ti on 1440p sync enabled with i5 lga1200 system. BFV all maxed out pulls 144 (max to my monitor) with occasional drops to high 130's.
I upgraded from 980ti. Personally it was much more easier to shoot enemy pixels on 980ti than 3080ti ... Eye candy is so great, but all those explosion details, smoke, dust, fog really puts you in disadvantage. Looking back - I'd rather have 3070ti instead. But with limited options it is what it is. Hope this helps.

Price-wise, sure. Otherwise, it’s 3080 Ti, 3080, 3070 Ti, etc. I have both a 3080 Ti and a 3080, and guess what. The 3080 Ti outperforms the 3080 at 1440p, as it should. The OP really should have asked what the best bang-for-buck GPU is for 1440p gaming. In that case, I’d recommend the 3080 all day.

1440p could also be Ultra Wide...as in 3440*1440p adding a few more pixels....I have also moved from 3080 to 3080Ti ...although the 3080 is pretty darn good, found a 3080Ti FTW3 available at retail, so couldnt resist, with this Card I'll also skip the 4xxx Gen Cards, so may as well get it....

Yeah, that’s true about the resolution. Still, a 3080 should handle it very nicely. And, like you, I plan on skipping the next gen unless it defies the laws of physics or something similarly spectacular. I never buy the extended warranty because I normally upgrade within three years. This time, I purchased an additional two years for both my 3080 and 3080 Ti.

My 3080 FTW3 handled all my AAA titles really good on my Dell Alienware Ultra Wide.3440*1440p ...although its 120Hz and still a good number of titles couldnt do 120 FPS at Max settings......did I need to get the 3080Ti...absolutely not and had convinced myself I wouldn't "simply not worth it"......BUT ...when you see it available ...at MSRP..and know how hard it is to find a GPU at MSRP......well..logic stroked me and took a hike :)
 
But good until 5xxx Series !!

What improvements in FPS are you seeing versus the 3080 with the 3080 TI?
How much is the difference of temps from the 3080 to 3080TI?

Havent tried it....as Im away at work, once home next week Ill pop out the 3080, test the 3080Ti on air, block and install it, then run tests / benchmarks etc.
All reviews indicate only perhaps a 10% increase in FPS at best (we'll see how mine stacks up) and would expect temps slightly more perhaps....presently the 3080 loads n peaks at around 46c Maximum but pretty much sits around 39c - 42c.....really hoping the 3080Ti stays about the same or at least at or below 48c.....standby ;)
