I have an RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra and set up a custom fan curve in Afterburner. When the temps reach ~78C, it seems like the fans are being overridden. Afterburner still shows the custom fan speed I have at that temp (75%) but HWiNFO shows the fan speed drop to 0RPM. Another weird thing is I think the fans are spinning faster than if I set it to 100% via Afterburner because it is a lot louder. Any ideas whats going on? Is there some temperature limit being hit triggering an override?

Hello Notorious, You mentioned setting up the fan curve in Afterburner, have you tried the same setting in precision X1 and if so make sure you have any other cad or software like ICUE closed to make sure they're not interfering with your fan curve.

I find P1X is better for custom fan curves, AB is hit or miss for me, and will stop working sometimes for no apparent reason.
