Hey I FINALLY got a rtx 3080 ti at MSRP (WOOHOO) off newegg.ca. Curious if their is a higher tdp bios available I should be flashing or am I good out of the box? Thanks!

    Nothing other than the Galax 1kw bios, but it's not a daily driver.

    yeah even on stock BIOS your 450w out of the box......its ample.

    Mine still power throttles even with 450 watts? Just a hungry GPU core I guess..

    This might sound rudimentary, but what process do I need to follow to flash and restore the Galax BIOS?  It has literally been about a decade since I last did any VGA flashing.  Also, why do you say that it is not a daily driver?  Any specific issues with it when it is on water?

    Like other 1kw XOC bios, it has the thermal limits removed so some risk of killing your card if something goes wrong with your cooling setup.
