Hi Everyone,

I have a Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060025-WW). I've haven't been gaming lately and I just started to play CoD Warzone. My CPU temps spike to 90C - 100C soon after I load the game. AIO was installed in 5/15/2016.

I applied new thermal paste.
Took the AIO out and gave it a thorough shake. There are some air bubbles in it.
I have the AIO mounted on the top of my case.

Any help is appreciated. The pump and fans are still working according to the Corsair link. Should I attempt to refill or buy another AIO.

    I'd say so.

I had an H100i V2 once upon a time that lasted only about 2 years or so..I could hear the pump running/humming and change speeds but my CPU was getting hot like yours..The impeller went bad..If you can hear the pump, it's obviously not pumping and it's junk..If you can't hear it, then either it's a faulty pump motor or you changed a BIOS setting that affects the mobo header that it's plugged into.

    It had a 5-year warranty.

I know you've probably done it, but if your AIO is really that old, has it been dusted since you left it sitting for a long time? If the fans are filled with dust that might explain it. A while ago that was what was making my computer crash.

The only troubleshooting I can suggest is:
Make sure all the wires for the fans and pump are connected and that the pump is running at full speed.
Make sure the pump/waterblocks is mounted properly on the CPU and isn't loose.
Tilt the case side to side and front to back witht he AIO running to move any air bubbles around inside the AIO.

The typical lifetime of an AIO is about 5 years.  Its probably dead.  The good news is there are plenty of good AIOs on the market to choose from.  If you want to stick with Corsair, they have a few 240mm AIOs that work well.  You might be able to upgrade to a larger AIO if your case has room for it.  Just be careful about clearance issues.
