Simple question - I've asked customer support but haven't heard back.  I was hoping someone here may have a definitive answer.  My suspicion is it is not compatible, since it is not listed, but I figure there is a chance that is an oversight.  My NVLink configuration is not giving me the temps I'd like with air cooling for the top card, so I'd like to see if I can enhance the cooling.

If anyone knows I'd be very appreciative.  Searching did not turn up an answer on this, so thank you in advance.

Nope, not compatible.  They completely changed the PCB for the 3090 Ti.  AFAIK there is no watercooled solution for the FTW3 yet (hybrid or waterblock).

Thanks friend.  Care to speculate if you think a compatible kit will eventually be released?

EK is working on waterblocks for the 3090ti, hybrid kit is unlikely, but a few hybrid models have left drydock so far, but are rare.

Yea, when asked, the answer from EVGA has been no plans for a separate hybrid kit IIRC.  Only choices are a future waterblock or grab the hybrid version of the card if possible as kraade suggested.

Just to close the loop (ha), I thought someone asked recently about the hybrid.

You do realize there is a 3090 Ti hybrid listed on EVGA’s website, right? And you can see posts about it from people who already have it. So, yes a hybrid 3090 Ti does exist. You can sign up to get notified of availability.

To the original poster - I do not think you will find a hybrid any better for a NVLink setup. The top card will always run hot for obvious reasons. Not sure why you would need NVLink, I experimented a bit with various cards in a dual GPU setup. Absent a custom waterloop, what I ended up being pleased with is an air cooled 3090 Ti FTW3 Ultra in PCI slot one installed horizontally and an ASUS Strix LC 3090 Ti installed vertically in the bottom of the case with a riser cable (the EVGA hybrid was not available at the time I got the Strix). Case is Phanteks Enthoo Pro II, if curious. A bunch of very quiet Noctua fans. Thermals are excellent, so is noise level.

Well if you check the Twitter link I posted you'll find that Jacob stated there is no plan to sell it separately. So shockingly, I do realize what is being offered at the moment. Obviously that could eventually change.

Apologies, I responded far too quickly instead of reading your other notes. Trying to help out the original poster as I think he is facing the same challenge I did with a dual GPU set-up. Again, I apologize to being trigger-happy with my remark.

Switching to an Ultra Hybrid model for the primary card dramatically reduced the temperatures by at least 10-20C depending on the situation.  However, it appears that the Ultra Hybrid and the FTW3 will not allow you to enable SLI together.  They will only operate independently, which is disappointing.

EDIT: After a day of testing, shortly after this post I was able to get SLI to work.  So it will work! And I still get better temps
