Hello everyone,
I recently put together a new gaming rig, all was fine till couple days later I started hearing some weird sounds from the pc every 5 seconds to 10 seconds maybe.

I have a video of the pc making the sound, I'm pretty sure it's the GPU but I'm not %100 sure, I'm new to building pc's this is my 3rd build.

Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction to get this fixed?

here the video

Because you're on a new account on the forums you can't post links/videos yet.  If you can, just post the /??????? part of the YouTube or whatever link, then say what site it's on separately.

From what you're saying it sounds like Coil Whine, but it's possible it's something else.  Coil Whine is 'normal', but if it's extremely loud, eVGA will allow you to RMA the card for it, really depends on the severity.

Without looking at the video (there was no link or attachment that i could see), most of the time a weird sound is going to be related to a moving part.  In this case, potentially 3 fans.   I also believe those fans aren't always running. That would explain the 5/10 second intervals. I imagine one of your fans is brushing up against something, or worst case has a bad bearing.  I don't have a 3090 so I can't offer any advice on how to take it apart or not, but hopefully someone else reading this can help.
In any case I would closely inspect the fans and their surroundings.
There may be a way to disable the GPU fans as well.  If so, I would try that to see if the noise disappears.

    Good luck fortunate 3090 owner!

    O_o That's funky.

Is it possible this is from fans spinning up & down/stopping & starting, or are the fans off/at idle during the video?  That sounds like an audio-type distortion garble you would get when a wireless connection or something is messing up, never heard a video card make such a sound before.

How sure are you it's coming from the video card specifically?  One way to test would be if you have another PC or friend's PC that you can plug it in to, that would rule out anything else in the PC making it if it still happens in an entirely different system.

I don't think it's necessarily something to be concerned about, but figuring out what it is would still be a good idea.

Just a random suggestion worth checking: Disable all the RGB on the card (turn it all off in Precision X1) and see if the sound goes away.  Doubt that's what it is, but doesn't hurt to check.

Now thinking about it, I'm pretty sure it's coming from my CPU cooler the pump, just been doing some research and could be some air bubbles trapped.

Especially if it's a fresh build, that's possible.  A lot of the time AIO coolers will get put pump-up at some point during shipping & them bubbles might get stuck.  Given that it seems to have a pretty regular 5 or so second interval, it isn't anywhere near as bad as some pumps I've heard with air bubble/other issues.  If your CPU radiator is mounted at the top of your case, the bubbles should work themselves out eventually, as long as your CPU isn't running abnormally hot, I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Might want to check the control speed on whichever motherboard header you have the CPU pump plugged in to.  I put mine to where it runs at 60% at idle & goes up to 100% once temperature passes 50C (indicating it's under a sustained load) - lowers pump noise (not that I have that problem, it's barely audible if my head is almost inside my case) & it also lowers the amount of "wear" on the pump vs running at 100% all the time, though just about every AIO pump these days is made to last 5+ years (as long as it's not chugging bubbles constantly).

This is a better answer than mine.
I read the article and it sounds very likely.
    Good luck!

Also, make sure the coolant tube connection to the radiator is physically higher than the pump (cpu) and is oriented at the bottom of the radiator.
(since air bubbles rise, if you have the hose connecting to the top of the radiator, than your pump will be sucking air.
