At 06:00 hrs I was on EVGA website fanatically trying to get my notifies in, as it is the only real solution to defeat the bots at this moment. I got mine in under a minute and now only to find out there was a "Launch Edition" card that went up at 06:05 hrs and people have already started to get notifications for it.
Do not get me wrong, I am thrilled that EVGA implemented the queue and gave us genuine buyers a real shot to buy a card against all the bots and scalpers running free all over the web, but not putting up all the SKUs at launch is a bummer. I mean someone who came 5 minutes late to the site will be having a card shipped today, but people like me who were at the time of launch are left behind.
Not to add the extra 30$ discount and T-shirt, the 5 min late to party people will be able to get.
Well it seems "Early bird gets the worm" is not true every time.
