I have an EVGA 3090 XC3 Ultra and found a couple issues with the bios that could use fixing:
1) There is a quadruple beep heard during POST when running this card in BIOS mode versus EUFI mode. Even though Windows on my motherboard is EUFI installed, I still enable hybrid mode in bios settings for unrelated reasons. This also causes the quadruple beep. The beeping only seems to go away in pure EUFI mode. Also, the beeping has no other effect on the card, and the system boots into Windows without any error. This problem also existed on ASUS 3090 STIX, but they just released a bios update that fixed it. So why can't EVGA do the same for their cards for users on older systems?
2) As mentioned elsewhere in these forums, 367 watt max power is too low for what this card is capable of. Upping this to 390 watt, at least on the XC3 Ultra would put this card in line with other competitor 3090's out there with 2 power connectors. This would be the most sensible move. Unlike the 500 watt bios released for the FTW that turned out to be a dud due to PCB restrictions, the XC3 apparently does not have as tight of restrictions on its PCB and 390 watts could actually be achievable given its design. So this is a big head scratcher here.
