I'm not really sure what happened to be honest. I was streaming to my Twitch channel like I usually do (with Streamlabs OBS and encoding with NVENC) and all of a sudden when I was viewing an Assetto Corsa replay my screens just flashed and went black. This also caused my PC to crash and the stream to end.

Had to hard reboot, so I did and my PC started up normally. I went ahead and started my stream again and went to go view the replay. As soon as the replay opened my screens went black again, the fans on the GPU went to 100%, and crashed my PC.

I did a hard reboot again, except this time I got absolutely no video output from my 3090. I've tried different PCI-E slots, different PSU cables, different display ports on the GPU, different display port and HDMI cords, clearing the CMOS, switching to OC mode on the GPU, plus anything I could find on Google. Also checked to see if the motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F) detected the GPU in BIOS which it did not in either PCI slot even after a BIOS update. I've been building PC's for years so I just went through the entire troubleshooting process to no avail.

The only culprit I can seem to find is the 3090 itself. I'm not sure what would have caused this because I've always kept Precision X1 open, its set to startup with my PC, and always had my fan profile set so I really don't think it was an overheating issue. I don't know if anyone is like me but I always double checked because this was my first ever major GPU purchase and it kept me paranoid

The weird part is that all the LEDs still work, as well as the fans, I just don't get any output at all from the card. The rest of the PC works fine, I made this post from my 9900K's onboard graphics lol but sadly this puts me out of competition in Assetto Corsa this weekend because I can't qualify. Oh well, hopefully the RMA process goes smoothly but until then if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know and I will try them.

I am SAD that your card has died...

It would be really great if someone that reports that their card ha died also shared PCB version of the card... that way rest of users at least can corelate... Note SN of the card is not relevant for it.
Right now their are 2 PC version 0.1 and 1.0.
To which PCB version your card belongs?

I'm not sure how to check which version the PCB is. I bought it in December of last year if that helps. Sadly I have accepted that for at least a little while, I have a $2-3K paperweight lmao

PCB version is printed next to PCIE slot on the card on front side.

I sent it back to EVGA just a little bit ago as my RMA request got approved almost instantly. I checked when I was packing it up and the PCB is 0.1.
