Hello, Asked the question several times but no clear answer, european website of EVGA does barely list the RTX30* prices were wrong for a long time but this is not the problem. The etailers and especially amazon didn't receive the 3080 FTW3 Gaming while the XC3 has been sent out to several people. I have ordered a 3080FTW3 through amazon since 17th of september and no news since then, when will you ship the 3080 FTW3 not ULTRA n europe? An indication would be great. Many thanks

FTW3 was delayed by almost a week while XC3 were ready day one. The issue was all of those (r)etailers who listed it and made it pre-order when it was not available yet. Though at least you're guaranteed to get one, unless there's a big issue and they need to cancel the order (which shouldn't be the case here).
That being said, once it was available, only the Ultra is being shipped, and Jacob on twitter said that non Ultra would follow a week later approx. I don't know if he was talking about US only or in general, though, but since Ultra are being shipped this week, I'd expect to see FTW3 non Ultra within a week or two. I'm curious, at which Amazon country did you order ? I'm waiting for Amazon.fr to update its stock this week / next week to get a FTW3 Ultra.

Hey hunter, Yes talking about Amazon.fr but it shouldn't matter since the seller is Amazon EU. Clearly jacob said that FTW3 is coming but he didnt precise when approx nor if he was talking about europe. Also he said the same thing at first and he was talking about the ULTRA. I just want to know when will they ship etailer the 3080 FTW Gaming. Aussi je suis sur HFR :p

This might be completely misplaced, but I just have a gut feeling that all the restock efforts are aimed squarely at the US.
The talk about "Thousands" of cards a week just feels like very few will make it here.
Maybe it's just because I've not heard anything particularly about international stock efforts.
Still love EVGA, don't get me wrong :) Would just like to know countries outside the US (Yes, they exist) are getting some love too.

Okay Overdos :P Je croise les doigts pour toi !
My understanding is that cards that we can see (mostly in the US) are using air-shipping and are in limited supply because of plane space and plane fees. There will be boats that can carry way more cards while being less expensive, but boats are slower than airplanes (considering airplanes are already slower than usual due to the current crisis situation). Once those ships get to their destination, we'll see way more cards and in greater number. That's why I guess Jacob talked about mid / end october to somewhat stabilize the situation in US and in EU, because some of the cards are being air-shipped but other cards right now are being put in larger containers and once they get enough stock they'll ship them onto boats. And we would just need one boat with good loading of cards to get a real good chance of having one.
In a video of GamersNexus, it was said MSI could build one million card per month. Now, it was before 2020 and the crisis situation, and building doesn't mean shipping, and also it was on cards launched for months iirc so we might take a while to get there but even if let's say 1000 or 5000 are sent by airshipping a couple days each and you get a boat that can deliver let's say 100 000 cards, that's why it would take a while. Because you need to build the cards first, then have enough stock to be worth put on a boat since boats take longer you'll better load it plenty.
It's like reloading a pistol against a machine gun. Machine gun can empty a load of bullets but takes longer than pistols, who have less ammo but can reload faster. That would be the best analogy I can think of right now.

https://twitter.com/JonBadowski/status/1312384446562209793That should help relieve some of the pressure we feel. Though it doesn't really answer much in term of how much stock compared to US, if even it's enough stock for being able to buy one or if the stock will be just enough (or not even enough) to cover every order made by retailers while others still aren't able to order anything. I guess we'll see.

I've ordered a 3080 ftw3 Ultra from a local Finnish store, Jimm's PC Store which also is listed as a retailer on Evga website. Not a single Evga card of any model has yet arrived to Finland (Including Jimm's and all the other retailers in Finland).

Here are my thoughts since shipments seems to follow each couple of days if not almost daily according to Jacob's tweets (no ideas if mostly US or worldwide, would seem to be worldwide though) It's possible that due to different management of the crisis compared to US, there is some blocage or at least delay in handling shipments when they get to EU. If it's all airshipped to the same country then delivered to other countries of EU, it then needs to be driven to these countries. Assuming it's airshipped to Netherlands (because it's EVGA EU HQ) it would take two days to get to Spain for example (France takes more than 10 hours from North-East to South-West by road and that is if you travel on highway at 130km/h with a car, because trucks are limited at 80km/h up to 90km/h depending on weather). Or whatever country it lands on, some countries would see stock sooner or later than other EU countries based on the distance. And to that you can add more delay since the trucker gives the shipment to local warehouse delivery company, then needs to be received by retailer and added to inventory, which can take hours if not days depending on the type of business, if for example the store has a customer support program and there's no staff to focus solely on inventory (which can happen, I worked as a trainee in a somewhat big retailer who did customer support and we would focus on inventory when there was not many people in the store or when all the power plugs and computers would be in use already doing Windows install, recovery data, etc, things that you don't need to be in front of the computer to do). Anyway, just to say that we might see " big " availability in a short time window on some (r)etailers. At least that's my hope.

I ordered ftw3 ultra on launch day from scan in the uk and no idea when it's coming. Only information i have is they are expecting a delivery from evga between the 7th and 9th which may or may not have my card on it 🤣🤣
I am more annoyed with scan than anything else for taking more than £800 for a product they cant tell me when i can get.
Been thinking of cancelling and just buying a 2080 super and registering with the step up but known my luck something would go wrong

I was in a similar case. Bought a XC3 for 850€ from a retailer, when I saw EVGA prices and that on EU EVGA I could get a FTW3 Ultra for that price (and even cheaper thanks to associate code 5% rebate) I canceled my XC3. The decisive fact was that, like you, my retailer wasn't able to give a window and even worse than you, told me i'd wait weeks most likely, whereas you at least have some hope to get it the next few days maybe. Btw, an hour after I ordered my XC3, price went up to 940€. FTW3 Ultra is 1000€ there, putting it at 150€ (or almost 200€ if you count the 5% rebate) higher than EVGA's own store. I wasn't going to be robbed by a greedy retailer. Btw all french retailers share the same prices, which isn't surprising considering 2 of the 3 top retailers are the same (one is owned by the other). My only hopes are Amazon.fr and most likely EVGA EU now, since Amazon EU seems to know nothing. I won't go through Step Up since retailers seems to have increased every price even 2000 series which is just BS but hey at least the CE-H o e s will be able to get their Christmas gift in advance :P (Sorry Moderator in advance if my pun does need to be censored, I'll understand :P )

I wouldn't worry. If Jacob said to expect them then they are coming. As for America it just takes looking around the forums to see that America is getting enough cards to fill the demand and that will go for a bit but should even out hopefully shortly.

Also, even at 3pm in France is only 6am for Jacob so we should let the poor man breathe a little on a monday morning and at least get his coffee first I would assume that because of timezone difference, he could have trouble getting informations if he needs to contact local shipping management, 10am PST for Brea California is 9pm CEST for France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland (and plenty other EU countries) for example, and good luck getting someone on the phone past 5 or 6pm in France :P Also assuming he has the tracking numbers, they might not detail the exact current location the shipment is at, or why it would have been stopped for a day or two (maybe because of sanitary situation regulations like I said earlier) etc. As long as they have been sent, we know we aren't forgotten. Now we just need to wish retailers are quick to list the stock on the site so we can get a chance for one :P

I feel completely abandoned as a eu customer. I order on Amazon.de on the 17th and don't have the slightest clue as when to expect my order. Ordering directly from evga also is not an option here. It's disheartening...

EVGA is my only hope in my country (France) (I think I might do a meme parody of Star Wars at this point. )
Retailers are too greedy and ROG brand have way too many fanboys all over it to be able to get anything if I ever wanted to.

EVGA sell in Europe? The EU store is always empty of everything all the time. I thought they just used it for promotion.

Just saw it yeah :p Well we can only hope there'll be more stock soon, hopefully with or without the queueing program as it may take some time to get to EU store.
