Hi correct me if I'm wrong I couldn't find this information in the FAQ but the KL cards were made to prevent crypto mining but will it affect any of my rendering processes?  I use my GPU primarily for 3d related software so I need these cards to perform correctly when running GPU based renderers.

only Ethereum (Dagger Hashimoto) mining.

doesnt affect gaming
doesnt affect rendering
doesnt affect compute loads
doesnt affect other types (algorithms) of GPU mining

The LHR cards only reduce performance when mining ethereum (and only ethereum). For rendering they should be just fine.

The LHR cards only reduce performance when mining ethereum (and only ethereum). For rendering they should be just fine.

However, there are reports that the Autolykos2 algorithm is also affected (mining Ergo), although not yet clarified if it's the LHR mechanism or the latest drivers needed for these cards that affects this algorithm as well.
My point is, we can never be sure what or how this new LHR thing affects other things. A fair assumption would be that it doesn't affect rendering among others, but I wouldn't trust nVidia *entirely* on this one.
Don't want to sound negative or deterrent, just that we can't be 100% sure about everything until it has been proven through testing.
