X299 Dark PCH Max Temp

Anyone know what the safe temperature range is for the PCH on the X299 Dark? Want to turn the PCH fan off so that I can determine if that is the fan that is making this horrible noise, lol.

    I've been running my X299 Dark with the PCH fan off for a few months due to a clicking noise. The PCH doesn't cross 65 C and doesn't seem to be unstable.
