https://www.techpowerup.com/270162/super-flower-launches-leadex-v-gold-1000w-shortest-psu-in-this-power-class Super Flower today launched the shortest 1000 W PSU, the Leadex V Gold 1000 W. Some of the earliest pictures of this PSU started surfacing in May, and the company teased its dimensions back in March. Built in the standard ATX-PS/2 form-factor, the PSU is just 13 cm in length. You typically find 450-650 W PSUs this compact. Despite its compact dimensions, the Leadex V Gold 1000 W offers full modular cabling (something that typically adds to the length of a PSU internally).
Speaking of internals, the Leadex V Gold offers a single +12 V rail design, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, DC-to-DC switching, APFC, and most common electric protections, against over/under-voltage, overload, overheat, and short-circuit. It uses a 120 mm fan to keep cool. Among the flat black modular cables are one 24-pin ATX, two 4+4 pin EPS, six 6+2 pin PCIe power, twelve SATA power, and four Molex. The lineup also includes lower power 850 W, 750 W, and 650 W models with fewer PCIe and SATA power connectors, although the USP of 13 cm length remains the same. Super Flower is backing the Leadex V Gold series with 5-year warranties. The company didn't reveal pricing.
The 7 year warranty is not too bad and the short size is very advantageous for anyone struggling with PC case space.
