Okay folks,
 
I got a call of duty black ops cold war. I've yet been able to play a single campaign story mode/Zombie mode. I have been hearing a lot of reports that no one is able to play the game online. Over the last 48 hours I've been unable to play the game. In addition, I often get fatal errors and game crashes. I rescanned my game files. Nothing invalided the game files. All validated with success. Is there a work around. Or is this issue related to poor development on game lunch date? See screenshot for error report. Is there a work around? I've cleaned the drivers, validated the entire game files, and hard reset my modem/router. Oddly, I can still play COD4 Black Ops on the same account. But low and behold if I try to play COD Cold War I'm S.O.L.

With it just coming out I would guess it's going to be quickly patched.

I really wanted to test my 3090 RTX out. I wanted to flex it's muscles in game mode... 

Here are some trouble shooting guides I was presented today.
 
(Before re-installing) let’s delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders in the Windows temporary file locations below. If you don’t Press Windows Key + R and type: %LOCALAPPDATA%. Delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders. Repeat the process for %APPDATA%, %TEMP%, and %PROGRAMDATA%. Delete any Battle.net, Blizzard, and/or Blizzard Entertainment folders.
 
Second solution. Use VPN to access the game's servers. I heard this could be an ISP issue. I'm not sure. Who is a good free VPN provider I can try? 

Has for the server and connection issues. I found my problem. I just needed to link my activation account to my Blizzard.net account. It resolved all my issues.

All I can say is what my son says about it.
He says it crashes repeatedly. ..& If you use the newest 457.30 game driver for it, it crashes even more.!
He says the campaign is very short but ok , the Zombie mode is decent , ... but the multiplayer part feels very off . He says it runs like crud & looks like crud.  Like 2 generations back in gameplay feel and movement. ( when it's not crashing )
 
Sounds like the troubled development cycle on this one has proved to be very problematic for gamers expecting AAA quality from the biggest Dev budget on the planet....
Sounds like they needed to postpone this release, like so many others games have done this year ,  but didn't want to loose their holiday cash cow !?

I’d have to agree with your son. The game reminds me of an 80’s game called Leisure Suit Larry.
 
in comparison to MW, I would rate MW a 10 and this garbage a two. Although I have not had any game issues with it, the quality is underwhelming.

The zombie mode feels like crud. It looks sloppy and rushed. BLACK OPS is finished after this release. I'm glad I didn't pay a penny for this game. It came with my 3090 RTX. 

Game is pure trash. Sad, because I actually like MW 2019. These games cater far too much to bad players. The console aimbot is far too overpowered and PC cheaters try and hide in the cross platform lobbies. They're easy to spot though, usually their aimbot is too strong to be a console player and when you check on them after the game, sure enough they are on PC. The graphics are pretty bad as well.
