First the specs: CPU: i9-9900k w/ AIO 280mm Motherboard: X570 AORUS ELITE Ram: 4x8gb Viper Hard drives: One M.2, one sata ssd, and one mechanical. PSU: Corsaid CX 750M. Monitor: Alienware 34" Ultrawide 3440x1440p So i am at a complete loss here and need to reach out to the community. Recently submitted an RMA to evga as the fan on mine was starting to go bad. They ship me a new one. All is well but after 24 hours the pc blue screened, and starts artifacting (even in bios very heavily). Submit another RMA to evga, and get sent another card. Same exact thing happens AGAIN. Blue screened, artifacting heavily, and windows detects a problem with the GPU. I ordered a new PSU which will be arriving today to install. I am not sure what else would be causing this past very bad luck (and evga probably thinking this is suspect) or something im missing. As a side note, I have been using my backup GTX 960 without issues this entire time between RMA's and nothing has gone wrong with it. Any help or insight would be extremely helpful!

No its not overclocked, stock as stock can be.
Why would i be checking anything with windows when the card heavily artifacts even in bios?

Since your 1st card still worked and the 960 works now, EVGA sends used/refurb cards some bad ones make it through. I would call EVGA Tuesday morning and speak with a tech. Tell them the two they sent are/were not working right. Your original was working fine except the fan's going bad. And The system works now with the 960 in it Ask them to please test the next card they send to make sure it is ok. Maybe worth while to use DDU to remove any trace of the old drivers and install new drivers.

I will be giving them a call. I just feel like im a burden on them with how things are currently. Any GPU i would imagine is getting hard to come by. Although these cards worked great for the 24-48 hours life they had. So testing one they send me will probably take quite a bit of time.

That's an automatic RMA. FlintTown420 I will be giving them a call. I just feel like im a burden on them with how things are currently. Any GPU i would imagine is getting hard to come by. You received a bum card from them and they should fix it. Since Evga sends out refurb cards the burden is on them.

Nothing is going to work with an I9 9900k on a x570 AMD board

You're in warranty, right? If so, this is "Cost Of Doing Business". If they view it as burdensome, under ANY circumstances, they shouldn't be IN business.

Do you have means to test the card in another system, a friend's maybe? Seems unusual that the 2 cards would have the exact same issue. You had a 2080 running in the system previously with no issues?

Yes, exact same issue on both cards. I have tested the card in my 2nd PC with same exact problem. My previous 2080 was having a fan issue that i figured i would get taken care of before the fan stopped working all together.

EVGA will get it sorted out for ya I'm sure. Just sucks having to deal with it twice. Even though the card is under warranty, I would have just replaced the fan myself (assuming it was the fan itself) because you never know what your getting back.

Was looking on the Gigabyte site for different boards and found that the Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 supports both AMD and Nvidia 2-way GPU but the Z390 Aorus Elite only supports 2-way AMD GPU. The X570 Aorus Elite also support 2-way AMD GPU. https://www.tweaktown.com/articles/9070/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080-super-nvlink-benchmarked/index.html

I'd try contact them to see what the issue is.
