As title says, I'm running my headphones currently through RCA (using 3.5mm the converter, no reason) and external speakers through external amp to SPDIF. The amp I have only has SPDIF and 3.5mm IN.
I'm looking for a quick way to switch between the two when I get up from my desk (thinking hotkeys) because exiting program to access app is a bit cumbersome.
If not possible, then potentially looking into getting a new amp with RCA IN, to run both at same times and using external amp volume reduction/mute when at desk.
Sorry if this has already been asked/answered I did a bunch of searches ahead of time.

Following up with that current switch will break game (Fortnite CoDMW) audio forcing me to restart game. So I might be roped into getting another amp.

    Bluetooth headphones are very convenient.

    ASRock Z77 • Intel Core i7 3770K • EVGA GTX 1080 • Samsung 850 Pro • Seasonic PRIME 600W Titanium

@ty_ger07 Not sure if that is tongue in cheek but I won't be running BT headphones, thanks.

    Currently:
    - RCA to 3.5mm to DAC to speakers
    - 1/4" direct to headphones
Reduce dB on DAC manually when Mic is hot. (Mic runs on its own external interface via USB)
Was hoping to optical out and headphone out concurrently. I guess this isn't an option.
