Having issues with the small screw that holds the M.2 SSD at the 80mm position, the screw is not long enough.
The 80mm position has an adapter that screws into the motherboard and the screw that holds the SSD screws into that adapter at the 80mm position, the screw is too short not long enough to even get the treads started, also the screw head is too small barley covers the notch in the M.2 SSD.
My M.2 SSD is a 1TB GAMMIX S11 PRO P/N: AGAMMIXS11P-1TT-C
Please advise?

EVGA Response:
Hello,
Sorry to hear about the issue with the M.2 screw. Unfortunately, we only have one size of M.2 screw available and it is the same screw which comes with the motherboard. The screws that comes with the motherboard is a M2 x 2.5mm size screw, so if you are looking for a longer screw I would suggest a M2 x 3.5mm or 4mm length screw to be able to tighten down your M.2 drive. M2 threaded screws are fairly common and can be found at various online retailers and sometimes even general hardware stores such as Home Depot.

My Response, not answered. LOL
How about sending me the proper hardware instead of making me drive around looking for a micro screw?

Could you take pictures of the issue? I know it seems like a hassle, but it isn’t typical that they wouldn’t fit. It sounds like something else could be slightly blocking the screw from going in properly, so it isn’t reaching.

Was the screw in the motherboard stand off when you received it?

If you just need one screw then look on auction sites like ebay

Solved it myself, Lowes had this part in there bolts and screws section. The part was not intended for motherboards but it worked out perfectly, better than EVGA supplied hardware. I can't seem to embed a picture into the post unless it has an external URL, thus I can't show any of you?

Open the full version of the post box, and you'll see an option to upload a photo there.

Like LeeM said, open the full dialog box, and make sure your picture is UNDER 500kb. It will not give you a ton of notice why you can’t upload if it is over that size.
