I have a profile set up with my fans at 85%, I use this for gaming only. Now when I am done I have a preset profile for set at defaults. My question is, does it hurt to turn my fans down so fast, from 85% to 45%??

Will this harm the fans at all.

If so, how should I lower fan speed after a gaming session?

Thanks in advance.

It won't harm the fans but locking your fans at 85% if that's what you mean could affect your performance if the temps get high and the GPU starts to throttle.  You always max your fan curve to 100% just in case the GPU needs to.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

I have checked the temps and from what I see in bf4, mostly what I play, I stay between 68c to 70c.
