I'm gonna guess 480 in SLI however I don't know for sure. Considering that there are so few 480 owners out there ATM I'm not sure you'll get much response here.  I've heard the game is very demanding, personally, I'm still waiting on my pre-ordered 480 to show up so I'm curious to know as well. If you don't mind me asking, what are you getting? FPS wise... vs Settings...

Same FPS 30 at res 1650x1050 Very stable though and sometime it jumps higher to 50. Crysis on the other hand stay smooth at 45fps. I assume you need 1 more 480gtx in order to run metro2033 smoothly.

Wow that's interesting and disappointing all in one. I wish I had the game to try my 285 pair and see what I get of course that wouldn't be DX11 however and I suspect you'd get much better FPS with DX10 too.

I'm running two 480's with a 280 for PhysX and it runs pretty well all maxed out - still, I can tell there are more than a few places where I'm not getting a constant 60 fps.

Have you tried it with Advanced DOF? Your frames should increase by quite a bit.

No, I actually meant DOF off...lol. But, yeah, running with it kills fps.

I have dual GTX 480 SC's, and still can't play Metro maxed out. I have to play it at "High" settings otherwise it kicks me out. If I try to play "Very High" it kicks me out and changes itself to "High".

I have been told that dropping down to DX10 just about doubles the fps, and doesn't look much different at all.

yea just play in dx9 or dx10, they both look exactly the same. Only the dx11 has the more rounded edges and the advanced DOF. which really kills FPS.

So i have been playing for several hours now with my single 480 with everything at max, it stays at around 30 frames and actually looks pretty smooth. Tho it is noticeable at times when it really dips down, i must say the game looks great, better than crysis. I also think the gameplay is much more fun. Overall i suggest any 480's owner buy it, its rather entertaining.
