Google is way too SJW for my tastes. The problem isn't really banning of content but them demonetizing channels for virtue signalling issues. It makes me want to puke every time I see it happening. YouTube treats information not as a tool, but as a weapon and seeks to suppress anything that deviates from their world view.

Seems like these old stories normally increase in spread as we get closer to an election. Just look at dates and try to find the news on multiple news sites. Often that is enough to show if it’s something to worry about. Really it’s a good rule for anything to check multiple sites since DSLL can be trashed on one YouTube review then the next saying a patch makes it great.

The problem with youtube is its popularity to which many gravitate as it provides a common and easily accessible media platform considered to be diplomatically sensitive. This attracts a demographic of individuals with no historical or psychological knowledge, motivated to discuss issues from an emotional standpoint. They are dangerous people because they fail or blatantly refuse to research subject matter resulting in fraudulent conclusions. I suppose it's easier to accept rhetoric shouted on the street by a mob instead of in depth probing which takes time away from facebook and recharging their phones.
Conditioning is also a problem. Educational institutions have adopted policies devoted to prevent offending society, making their pupils believe they obtained and are defending a moral high ground by submissively accepting blame and openly defending an enemy. Using the firearms dispute as an example, I'm certain at least a few progressive revolutionaries will be stunned once they discover the association of universal gun ownership opposition. Laws will not prevent criminals from owning guns but they will strip law abiding citizens of another defensive measure. Well done.
HOWEVER...I have noticed a trend on these social media sites, youtube in particular. Subscriptions to accounts opposing SJW accounts overwhelmingly favour the former. This attitude had better be mirrored at the polls or we're in trouble.

I think it’s important to realize when this story came out originally Youtube just had a woman shoot and kill a co-worker at the building. So of course people thought at the time they would do some extreme action.
