I just received my new Evga Nu sound card and all I can say is WOW. I have been using onboard sound on my z390 Gigabtye master and the onboard sound does not compare.  The sound compared to onboard sound is much cleaner, louder and deeper. 
 
I would say this is a must have!!!!
