I have recently installed and noting mainly in discord that my mic (that did not do this with on board sound) is picking up game sounds from my headset. (Listen to this device) is not checked and the sound is not constant. I have adjusted sensitivity and have my mic at 10% in the EVGA program. My headset did not do this with on board sound, no matter how loud I had it. I have also adjusted settings in discord including lowering sensitivity there and people still hear gun sounds, etc... any help would be appreciated. The only other thing I can think of is a desktop mic...

What kind of headset are you using?  If they are open or partially open it's possible that the mic is picking up the game audio as ambient noise.  I've had headsets do this in the past with other sound cards.

For reference, I setup a Skype call with a friend on the NU Audio card yesterday, and had to set the Mic Boost to 0% in order for it to not pick up breathing.

The other possibility is to check if you have the "Playback through this device" dropdown set to Speakers or something other than Default Playback Device.

I do have open backed DT990s with an anlion audio mod mic. My older headset, Astro A40s are doing the same thing through the NU Audio Card. Mic boost is set to off. I have never had this much feedback through a mic. Drives everyone in discord crazy. I have manually adjusted the sensitivity of the mic in discord and it still hasn’t resolved my issue. Push to talk is currently not an option for me. I can still return the 990s and get closed back... I’m just not sure what else to do.
