Like I described above. I get no sound except for an occasional split second audio. Initially the card worked. However it the began to cut out. Turned out to be a defective card because the S/PDIF port housing was loose. Had it RMA’d and recieved a new card. Now I’m just not getting any sound from the card. I can still use my Mobo but please let me know if there are any solutions. Thank you,

Have you tried a different TOSLink cable to to make sure it has not been damaged. Happened to me once when rearranging my HT stuff. Was working, unplugged and moved devices around - plugged back in and no sound. Changed the TOSLink cable and was good to go

The cable works when I plug it into my motherboard for audio. Just not with the NU audio card.

Can you confirm that the Nu audio card is set as the default playback device? Have you tested the Line out port?

Yes it is the default device. It does work with the headphones jack. It does not work with the Line in/out (the double pronged adapter). But I use a sound bar with a spdif port. And that is what is not working so as of right now the card is plugged in. But I am using my MOBO for audio.

Okay oddly enough it works now. I updated it to the newest feb driver. It didn’t work until I changed the sample rate a few time from 24Bit, 48000 to higher and lower rates. I switched it back to 24Bit, 4800 and it works perfectly. I was assuming it was a driver issue since everything else worked

I was about to suggest changing the sample rate but I'm glad you got it all sorted it out
