Hey everyone. Having an odd issue that I dont quite know how to fix. Its one of those where benq says its my card, and evga says its the monitor.
 
I have a benq xl 2730z and I have 120hz at 1080p set in the nvidia control panel just fine. Dual link dvi displays 120hz/fps when playing games. Now when I connect a display port cable (display port 1.2 cable) the hz caps at 100 even though in the nvidia control panel it says 120hz. Im a bit confused on what I might be doing wrong. Tried a few different cables but nothing seems to fix it. Found a few different threads but they couldnt change it past 100hz in the control panel. Which I can do just fine, only the cable messes it up.
