hi all. i've done a cursory search and couldn't find how to turn off the popup notification on restart for precision mobilex. there were times before a fresh reboot that it never came up, but i don't remember how that happened. can someone drop some knowledge on me? tia.

If you want the app to start minimized(what I'm assuming based on your post), there is a "Start Minimized" setting in the app. With PrecisionX Mobile open, click the gear icon at the top(options should appear) and select "Start Minimized".

on system reboot, a notification pops up asking if i will allow the app to make changes to my system. it does it on every restart. is there a way to turn it off for the app only? tia.

Change User Account Control(type UAC in Cortana search) settings to "Never Notify" and that should disable the notification from appearing.

uh...no. i don't want to shut down UAC system wide..not a good idea. i'm looking to just make it stop for this particular software.

Have you tried setting the .exe program to run as Admin? It should be in this folder unless you reinstalled: C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX Mobile

negative..setting it as run admin for all users still gets UAC popup on every reboot. i guess the one that i had that didn't do it was pre-spectre update, version 1.0.8. i have 1.0.11.

Not sure how else to turn it off. Maybe there was a recent Windows update that messed with UAC settings. When I turned mine off "Never notify", that message pops up regardless of giving PXM full permissions for all users, admin, and system.
