Hybrid cooler locking system up.

So, I purchased a reference RTX2080 over the holidays and my son purchased the associated Hybrid cooler model from EVGA as a present for.Christmas.
Everything installed fine and the card runs great. However once I launch Precision X1 the system hangs for lond periods and I have to initiate a system restart.
The card prior to the hybrid cooler worked fantastic with precision so I’m perplexed trying to understand why a cooler install would slow hang and lock windows. I later even tried a full system install of windows no go, Afterburner however works great. So, again very strange and was ooking to see if anyone on the boards or even EVGA has an answer to why this might have happened. Thx in advance.

    IMHO Precision x is up until now bugged. On my PC the overlay in some games is still not working. Use AFB, it is a much better piece of software.

    I really love the Precision x1 interface but yeah, at this point its not working properly and I understand its still beta. But this doesnt really make any sense, all I did was take the same card add the cooler and popped it back into the same PCIE slot.
