How long does the new 2000 series take to come out?

Hi guys
 
i am about to buy Evga rtx 2080 ti however i was thinking about the new 2000 series.Do they come out this summer or do we have much time to see them?
 
should i wait for them or place the order right now?
 
Evga RTX 2080 TI XC HYBRID or Evga RTX 2080 TI FTW3 ULTRA by paying 100$ more?

    Not sure what new 2000 series cards will be, can say though the 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra is a mighty sweet card.

    Nothing has even been announced yet, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for an August launch again, that's for sure.

    The usual wait time between two generations is 2 years so you'll in essence be waiting 1 1/2 years till the next release or longer but it's possible that they come out with something sooner so ya never know but the average throughout history is about every 2 years.
