Is this card EVER going to come into stock????? Ive been waiting literally a few months now..... and its almost christmas and everybody said EVGA would have stock for the holiday season..... this isn't happening. So im just wondering when is this going to come into stock?

Hi symetik and welcome to the EVGA forums!
Unfortunately there is no ETA when more will be available but we do encourage everyone to use the auto-notify button since this will let you know as soon as the product does become available.
Also, due to very high demand, these cards do tend to sell fast so you have to act as soon as you get the notification.

I am using the auto notify, My question is why not allow for preorders? so that you guys can judge the market much better and prepare for demand? This doesn't really make much sense to me. Also based on me checking every single day for months now this card has only been in stock once since its release on its launch day. There needs to be a better way of handling demand. I understand you guys don't want a repeat of the crypto mess that happened with overstock....... so again why not allow for preorders at this time? this only makes it easier for people who want one to get their name on a list and then be able to wait patiently instead of checking your email and the website 15 times a day so that I don't miss my opportunity..... that's crazy. There is a better way to handle this.

I understand the frustration but even on the few occasions where we have done pre-orders, although you are guaranteed a product, it's still subject to an unspecified time frame for availability so it basically turns out to be the same thing.

WHAT? are you kidding? "although you are guaranteed a product, it's still subject to an unspecified time frame for availability" yeah you are GUARANTEED A PRODUCT within the next batch....... therefore you know at least its coming in the next batch.... instead of missing out on the opportunity to buy and having to wait ANOTHER 3-4 months..... dude, comon that isn't a good enough reason to not offer preorders. That doesn't make sense at all. Let me explain it out this way..... If I do miss my opportunity to buy in the next batch (because I'm at work or I miss the email or whatever) I WONT BE BUYING A CARD FROM YOU GUYS...... because then I would have been waiting for anywhere from 5-6 months for a card..... IM NOT GOING TO WAIT THAT LONG with such uncertainty I will just go buy another brand. I WANT an EVGA card you guys are a great company and have always been legit....... but im not gonna wait a half a year for a second CHANCE to buy a card. Simple as that. not to mention, It's the holiday season.... you guys are REALLY dropping the ball by not having these in stock at this time. You guys should have seen this coming six months ago.

Its not on them man, they get the silicon from nvidia. Trust me, companies love making as much money as possible. if they could pump them out fast enough, they would. There have been rumors of poor yields with touring chips since its announcement. You gotta chill. And a preorder ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT gurantee anyone a product. You need to read the fine print of those end user license agreements a little better. A hostile tone never helps either.

"although you are guaranteed a product" I guess you need to read again.... and yes I know they get silicone from nvidia..... but if they call nvidia and say we have 250,000k sold in preorders you don't think that speaks volumes???? try again dude Nvidia wants to sell as much as possible too....
