Evga 2070 xc memory ???

Just purchased this gpu card as upgrade to my GeForce 1060 6gb,
just a quick question, it is advertised and sold as a 8gb card but both speccy and intel overclock programme show it only having 4gb ram??
 
is it something to do with being ddr5 that's tricks these programmes?

    It definitely has 8GB VRAM.
    Maybe those programs are out of date and dont recognize the card properly. 
    Download GPU-Z (newest Version) and check there!

    Speccy and Intel overclock program have errors reporting, and have had those errors for quite some time.
