The 2080 Ti Black Edition is listed with 150$ lower Price than XC Black Edition (999,99$ vs 1149.99$ in USA).

Very interesting, probably not the binned A chip.
Interesting how much worse the OC potential is, probably worth the 150$ lower price.

Also interesting if it will be available for step up. I am in step up for XC Black Edition, would have been great to pay 150€ (EU) less, but am also happy to get a step up at all.

But "2080 Ti Black Edition (11G-P4-2281-KR)" does not support compatibility for "Hydro Copper Waterblock (400-HC-1389-B1)" right? Is that correct?
Because, There is not The 2080Ti Black Edition in the compatibility support list of The Hydro Copper Waterblock.
That's the reason of why $150 cheaper maybe I think.
But if you would try to separat the 2080tiBE component then probably nothing difference to 2080tiXC I think.
Anyone tell me if you knew about the issue.

Really wish they'd put the XC ultra's in step up at some point.  I have some interest in upgrading to a 2080ti, but not without an adequate cooler and the 2 slot just doesn't do it for me.  I guess the other option is to wait until the hybrid kits are out and get an XC black.

I'm guessing the $1000 2080ti's are gonna be the bottom rung of silicon quality and will probably have more restrictive power limits from the BIOS as well.

They won’t. Baseline cards only. They are extremely generous to include any cards in the list.

It's really as much of a baseline card as the XC.  It's identical with a thicker heatsink.  The GPU, clocks, PCB, and everything else are the same.  The "upgrade" cards in my mind are the XC2 and FTW.

It is just new listed, that is probably, why it is not in the waterblcock support list. It has exactly the same design, there is no reason why it should not be supported by the warblock and if it would not support it, that would not be a reason for a lower Price, it is just the lower Standard Clock Speed and the not binned chip. Power Limit I don´t know. But great that the 999$ Statement from Nvidia will get in to reality.

If you say so and in real. It should very welcome and I want to be hope so.
Black Edition as $999 is cheaper than XC $150. That is wonderful I think.
Yes exactly same design. Actually, I think same opinion of you.
But why is there not in both of the compatibility list?
Nobody has been touch this issue.
Maybe it should ask EVGA about it.

I think the 999$ card will have lower power limit, since every non A chip has it. Also I have read that you can’t flash a non A chip Bios with an A bios with higher power limit. So it is fine for me to step up to the XC Black. Wanna slap a Morpheus 2 with 2 noctua fans on it and get the Full power out of it.
