On my 1070ti a capacity component exploded on me while playing, out of no where! Now only the DVI port works, all HDMI and DISPLAY PORTS are not working since the component explosion. This is a clearly EVGA manufacturing defect, maybe a inverted cap on the PCB....but my 1 year warranty is out since 2018......I find this is dangerous fire hazard, anyone having this issue? There are nothing that could of shorted my circuit as I haven't moved my setup nor anything touching the PCB, cooling is also adequate, a bit of dust but nothing out of the ordinary. I don't do any mining nor overcloking, regular VR uses. Disapointed of the EVGA quality and warranty, this 800$ board should at least be warranty for 5 years of any defects. I can only post my pictures in 5 days :(

Under 500kb is the requirement for the forums. I suggest using a hosting site like Imgur so that you can load larger images, then post the jpg link from the hosting website.
The warranty is 3 years on all components unless the user pays extra for an extended warranty.
If the cap had been reversed, it wouldn’t have taken so long to happen, so it was likely normal degradation of electronic components.

3kb is under 500kb, maybe its the fact that I registered today.. I need to be registered for 5 days... I agree that it would of exploded way before, but exploding component when they get degraded is not really a good engineering design.

It happens across all manufacturers. The capacitors do fail, but it is rare that they fail in this way. The numbers of capacitors exploding is extremely small and can be very alarming when it happens.
A 3kb picture isn’t going to show much. It most likely is due to the new registration.
Contact support through the My Products page, if you have registered your card. They will be the best person to talk to about this situation.

What is your part number? The part number should end in -KR, -KB, or -RX.

Thanks, I did not know about the 3 years warranty. I have the KR product.

Yeah, only EVGA's B-Stock cards carry a 1 year warranty. If you bought a new card it should have a 3 year warranty.
