So, i've decided to sell my card that i have bought in the back to school sale on 7th september 2018 which i have registered on 11th september as soon as i received it.
I have read the FAQ regarding warranties and sales, but still would like a confirmation if i understand things correctly.
So, i imagine the offline sale process to go like this:
1. i meet up with the seller, give him the card, he pays in cash on hand, we write both sign a document stating he bought a card from me that i bought from EVGA on the said date. I don't give him the original invoice that i have uploaded when registering the card.
2. he creates an account on eu.evga.com, registers the card and uploads the document we made up above and signed and states the date of purchase as 7th september.
3. he becomes the cards owner with 3 years warranty and it disappears from my account/my products?
(4. does he have the option to purchase extended warranty in the next 75 or so days?)
Is this how it's supposed to go?
P.S. there is a slight problem that when registering the card, i put in 6th september as date of purchase as i didn't look at the invoice and forgot the order was actually processed on the 7th, only placed and paid on 6th. Hope this is not a big problem, when i registered the PSU that came in the bundle, i put it the correct date which is 7th :)
