Has anyone with a 1080 FTW2 DT completed the 11GHz firmware update?

Has anyone with a 1080 FTW2 DT completed the 11GHz firmware update?

I've gone through two cards now and they both have the BIOS VER: 86.04.60.00.80 and wont update to the firmware shown on the forum post by EVGA UNLESS.. I flash to the "original" Bios stated on the forum post then to the new 11GHz firmware. Regardless, it chops my performance by 1/5 so I have to flash back to the original anyways because 5fps is not enough evidently.

Yes I booted into safemode
Yes I ran DDU
Yes I can confirm the BIOS Firmware im attempting with IS the correct one

Lend me your thoughts.
