Hi all,

I'm running an EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 along with a 7700k watercooled w/ Corsair H60 inside of an NZXT S340 Elite case. I've included a picture of my setup as well.

Currently, I'm experiencing load temperatures between 80c and 85c when running Fortnite at 4k. I'm worried this may be uncomfortably close to the top of the thermal range these cards are rated for and wanted some opinions. My current fan set up is two front 140mm intake, one top exhaust 120mm high cfm and the H60 fan/radiator intaking air on the 120mm exhaust fan port. I'm worried this may not be the most efficient setup and is hurting the overall performance of my 1080 Ti due to the only true exhaust fan on the case being the top 120mm fan, which does move a sizeable amount of air but I am concerned it's not enough. However, I am hesitant to switch that fan to exhaust for fear of pulling hot air over the radiator. So, I'm looking for some pointers to increase the thermal efficiency of the 1080 Ti and maybe even my case as a whole.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello Skewp and welcome to the forums!

Try changing the 120mm fan on the radiator so that it is exhausting air instead. This should not particularly hurt your CPU thermals and from experience I can tell you this for sure.

Go ahead and try that and update us, we'll be waiting!

I looked at the NZXT video on that PC case and I wondered when you take the front cover off to expose the input fans do the temps stay the same?

Or run it with the side cover off and a small box fan blowing at it.  That would tell you if air circulation is the problem.
