Hi guys,
for six months everything has been going fine with my GTX 275 and i7 920 setup until recently. A few weeks ago I noticed some green pixels showing up my monitor after my computer has been running for a while. At first I thought it was the monitor, (I have my Xbox 360 hooked up to my monitor as well) but after switching inputs I realized that isn't the issue- there were no green pixels apparent. So, I swapped out my GTX 275 for an 8800 and the same thing occurred. I looked up the issue on google, and the issue is apparently an "unclear" signal from the HDMI connection. Right now, I'm using a DVI-HDMI converter to hook up a HP w2207h monitor to my GTX 275. The weird thing is that the pixels do not show up on start up, and once they appear, more and more pixels start turning green- very odd.
Should I get a new HDMI cord? Or perhaps buy a different DVI-HDMI converter? This is a recent issue, and currently I'm using the HDMI cord that came with my monitor- so, not the best quality.
Thanks for any help, and if you need any help, I'll respond ASAP. :D
Edit**
I forgot to mention, the pixels ONLY appear on my desktop and when I'm watching a flash video. I haven't found any other instances of it.
