Hey evga. I have two 32gb optane modules I have put in raid0, but, I can't install Windows onto it. This can be done with asrock boards, Asus boards, etc. What am I doing wrong? When I go to inject the drivers into the windows install, the raid drive does not populate.

One noticeable difference is that the evga bios does not allow for pcie nvme remapping.

Bios States that the drive IS bootable. Meaning Intel rst recognizes the devices, made the raid 0 config on the drives and states I am able to boot to these devices.

Z270 classified k ftw mojo.

More important question is why do you want to raid 2 32GB drives? You are aware that optane modules are no faster at boot up than a regular NVMe right? Even in raid 0 you aren't going to be noticing anything considerable if at all.

I'll specifically gonna send em this batch/SN sold from Monoprice....something went really wronggggg there dude.
this one that wasn't fed up from the delid started running about 10 degrees hotter all of a sudden...then yeah just quit..no post deadddd

I want to get ryzen almost...I know those cpu's are all probably fine just some crappier than others....It's Intel dude know a chip has some headroom too it and knows it get's fed up running it like that...

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and guess English isn't your native language is it?

From what I can decipher from your nearly incoherent text, you killed your  7700K after you delidded it?

I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Also, It's just for giggles. I bought two of the damn things when they came out thinking I could raid my optane and my hdds. My mistake. I used one with my spinner for a while...boot times weren't spectacular...had the other just sitting in my m.2 slot...why not make use of it right? So, the solution was to raid the two drives together. I can say that two is faster than one.

so you killed some CPUs by delidding them and posted about in a thread asking a question about optane drives? Did I miss something here how that fit in.

For the OP, just because you can doesn't mean you should, 64GB is barely enough to install Windows on lol
