My hybrid kit had the ramping fans and bad performance again when i powered up today and launched a game.

The problem seems to happen with my power up sequence on my Classified K z170, sometimes it doesn't allow the gpu to start right, if i shut down completely after the problem, turn power off then start again the hybrid kit starts fine. Like a reset to a bad startup. I usually shut down every night but this might change.

The solution to my Hybrid Kit problem for the last year is to leave my PC on at all times while Hybrid Kit is functioning properly or else do the complete shutdown and power up until it functions properly. Something with complete shutdown on z170 Classified K causes the Hybrid kit to start up wrong but only once in a great moon.

Are you using Fast Startup in either the BIOS or Windows? Are you using the CSM support mode in the BIOS instead of straight UEFI boot?

I believe fast startup is on by default, anything default is what I use, I only turn on my RAM speed preset. I do have a real long splash screen I dont know about CSM or UEFI.

Try disabling Fast Startup as a first step. I've never noticed any difference in boot time with it off or on but it can cause weird problems.

Will do that, thanks for response. Sometimes I like to power off my PC cause I like complete quiet.

Fast Startup turned off is not a solution, just did it again on startup this evening. I think I am going to leave my PC on at all times and contact support with my new info.

Not that this is a resolution, but I use sleep mode. Does sleep mode also have issues?  Also, there are usually two fast start/fast boot or quick boot options. One in the BIOS and the Windows which is in the Power Options section. Make sure both are disabled.
