I am doing a build for 6 monitors. I picked up two gt710s (fanless! wonderful!) The intention was to have each card run 3 monitors.

We currently have 4 of the 6 monitors and I'm waiting for my adapters to arrive. I have the EVGA 270 ftw k motherboard. I have enabled the On-board gpu. For clarity, I will describe all three video devices as 710-a, 710-b, and mobo.

Currently, I have two plugs in 710-a, 1 plugged into 710-b, and one in mobo.

I can switch-swap all the monitors between the cards, they all work fine.

HOWEVER, the PC can only detect three of the monitors. It can detect any combination of all 3, but never the 4th, whether the 4th is in one of the 710s or in the mobo.

Any tips or suggestions for getting the 4 monitors working would be appreciated. The nvidia drivers are up to date, and the latest bios on the mobo is installed. I supposed i Haven't installed the updated driver on the mobo-gpu so I'll do that now.

Thank you!

EDIT: I plugged one monitor into the display port adapter on the Mobo. That makes 1 mobo-dp, 2 710-1, and 1 710-2. I am not optimistic that two more monitors will work when plugged in. Tips appreciated before we get two more monitors.

What are the displays you are using? It's kinda important.
